Description

The V-TAC 12 kW single-phase hybrid solar inverter SUN-12KSG02LP1-EU-AM3-P is designed to work with solar panel systems, the utility grid and low-voltage battery energy storage systems. The model supports lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries with a voltage of 40–60 V.

The maximum connectable PV power is 24 kW, the maximum PV input power is 19.2 kW, and the rated AC input/output active power is 12 kW. The inverter has 3 MPPT trackers with 2 PV strings per MPPT.

The maximum PV input voltage is 500 V, the PV input voltage range is 125–500 V, the MPPT operating range is 150–425 V, the full-load MPPT range is 200–425 V, and the rated PV input voltage is 370 V.

The maximum battery charge and discharge current is 250 A. For lithium-ion batteries, charge control automatically adapts to the BMS. The inverter offers six programmable battery charge and discharge periods, supports energy storage from a diesel generator and parallel operation of up to 16 inverters.

The maximum efficiency is 97.6%, the European efficiency is 96.5%, and the MPPT efficiency exceeds 99%. The IP65 protection rating provides protection against dust and water ingress. The operating temperature range is -40 to +60 °C, with power derating at temperatures above +45 °C.

The inverter features DC reverse polarity, AC overcurrent, overheating, AC overvoltage and short-circuit protection, DC component monitoring, anti-islanding protection, a DC switch, insulation resistance monitoring and residual current detection. Arc fault protection is available as an option.

The unit has an LCD display and Wi-Fi, RS485 and CAN communication interfaces. The noise level is below 45 dB. Warranty: 10 years.
