Description

The V-TAC 30 kW three-phase high-voltage hybrid solar inverter SUN-30K-SG02HP3-EU-AM3 is designed for solar energy systems with high-voltage lithium-ion batteries. The inverter operates both on-grid and off-grid and supports parallel connection of up to 10 inverters.

The inverter has 3 MPPT trackers with two PV strings per MPPT. The maximum connectable PV power is 60 kW, the maximum PV input power is 48 kW, and the rated AC input/output active power is 30 kW. The maximum PV input voltage is 1000 V, and the MPPT operating range is 150–850 V.

The battery voltage range is 160–700 V, and the maximum charge and discharge current is 75 A. Lithium-ion battery charging automatically adapts to the battery's BMS. The high-voltage battery system ensures efficient energy storage and use.

The inverter provides a 100% unbalanced three-phase output, AC coupling for retrofitting existing solar energy systems, parallel operation of multiple batteries, and six programmable battery charge and discharge time periods. Energy storage from a diesel generator is also supported.

The maximum efficiency is 98.5%, the European efficiency is 98%, and the MPPT efficiency exceeds 99%. The IP65 protection rating provides protection against dust and water ingress. The operating temperature range is -40 to +60 °C.

The inverter features protection against DC reverse polarity, AC overcurrent, overheating, AC overvoltage and short circuit, DC component monitoring, anti-islanding protection, a DC switch, insulation resistance monitoring and residual current detection. Arc fault protection is also available.
