Atšķirībā no XBB Dongle, PP-CAN-FD tiek pieslēgts transportlīdzekļa iekšējam CAN-bus tīklam, nevis diagnostikas ligzdai; uzstādīšana prasa lielākas zināšanas transportlīdzekļu elektronikā. Dažiem transportlīdzekļu modeļiem nepieciešams tieši PP-CAN-FD. Divas 10 A izejas, kuras var savienot, nodrošinot kopā 20 A. Analogo ieeju (4. tapa) var izmantot izeju manuālai aktivizēšanai. Pilnībā hermetizēts, izturīgs pret skarbākiem apstākļiem. Vienam PP-CAN-FD var pieslēgt līdz četriem XBB PowerUnit. 7 tapu, DIN 72552.
