How do I measure the loading platform of my pickup?

Measure the length of the cargo platform. Use a tape measure to accurately measure the overall length of the pickup bed.
Measure the distance from the edge of the cab. This will help to determine the exact fit of the tent to your vehicle.
Extend the tape measure to the inside of the loading platform at the tailboard and record the measurement.
