How do I measure the loading platform of my pickup?

Measure the length of the cargo platform. Use a tape measure to accurately measure the overall length of the load platform.
Measure the distance from the edge of the cab. This will help to accurately determine the distance to the rear.
Extend the tape measure to the inside of the load platform at the tailboard and record the measurement.
