Infrared motion sensor

The V-TAC VT-8153 is a recessed PIR infrared motion sensor for automatic lighting control. The sensor detects motion within a 360° range up to approximately 6 m, allowing for convenient lighting activation in rooms without the need for a wall switch.

Adjustable operating time and ambient light level

The sensor's activation duration can be adjusted from 10 seconds ±3 seconds to 15 minutes ±2 minutes. Ambient light sensitivity is adjustable within the range of <3–2,000 lx, so you can set the sensor to operate only in the dark or also in brighter conditions.

Up to a 400W LED load

The VT-8153 is designed for lighting loads of up to 400W for LED fixtures or up to 800W for traditional lighting. It operates on 220–240 V AC, 50/60 Hz.

Built-in installation

The sensor is designed to be recessed into a ceiling or other suitable surface. The required mounting hole diameter is 45–48 mm, and the recommended installation height is 2.2–4 m.

Suitable for indoor use

The IP20 protection rating is intended for use of the sensor in dry indoor environments. The operating temperature range is from -20 °C to +40 °C, and the motion detection speed is 0.6–1.5 m/s.
