The TurretCam HL (8 MP/2.8 mm) is a wired IP surveillance camera with a 110° field of view, hybrid IR+LED lighting, TrueWDR, a built-in microphone, and support for PoE or 12 V power. The camera is suitable for indoor and outdoor use, providing AI-based recognition of people, vehicles, and animals, color recording in low light, and secure transmission via JetSparrow. The device integrates with the Ajax system and supports ONVIF and RTSP compatibility with third-party VMS. Note: The microSD card and NVR drives are sold separately.

The hybrid lighting system automatically switches between infrared and white light, providing a clear, colorful image at night and in low-light conditions, and the white light can also serve as a deterrent. The camera’s built-in AI reduces the number of false alarms and the amount of storage required by recording only significant events. Privacy zones and pixel motion detection allow you to exclude sensitive areas from view and activate recording only in specified zones. JetSparrow provides fast, encrypted P2P streaming, while mTLS authentication and Secure Boot enhance security. ONVIF and RTSP support make integration with existing video management systems simple.

Install the camera indoors or outdoors using the included mount, and connect it to a power source via PoE or 12 V. Add the device to an Ajax room via the Ajax app, which guides you step by step through the setup process; registration is performed using mTLS with encrypted certificates. Set up privacy zones and a pixel detector so that recordings are made only in designated areas, and create scenarios where Ajax detectors trigger the camera to record for visual alarm verification. To integrate with third-party VMS or NVR systems, enable ONVIF/RTSP in the app and use the setup wizard to import network data. Video wall and archive search tools allow you to view live video, navigate to events by timestamp, and export clips.
