Attention. Connecting the camera.
1) Install the application on the smart device, below is the link to the VTAC SMART Light application.
2) Purchase a SIM card (we recommend a SIM card for data with a monthly subscription). Usually around 5eur per month with 10GB internet.
3) Before you insert the SIM card into the CCTV camera, you must perform the following steps. Insert the new SIM card into the phone. Enter the PIN code and remove the PIN code request in the security settings. Make sure that the new SIM card has access to the Internet by visiting an Internet site from the phone. If there is available, then remove the card from the phone and insert it into the camera.
4) Before putting the camera into operation, charge the full solar panel with a Micro USB cable (batteries built into the solar panel)
5) Insert the SIM card into the CCTV camera.
6) if you want to view the video history in the application, you must also purchase a micro SD memory card to insert into the video surveillance camera. Maximum memory up to 128GB.
7) Open the application on the phone and press:
Add a Device icon and select version 3 "ADD 4G camera"
8) For the video surveillance camera, when the SIM card and SD card are inserted, you must press the RESET button, which is located near the card slots. Hold the button for 10 seconds until the camera gives a signal that the reset has started.
9) After the reset, wait for about one minute. If everything has been done correctly and you are in the SIM GSM data area, then the flashing light of the camera will light up in blue and burn without flashing. At this moment, pick up the phone and after pressing the "Add device" button, the phone will open for you camera.
10) With the camera, scan the QR code that is stuck on the video surveillance camera and wait. Usually, the new device connects within 20 seconds.
If it fails, please re-read all these points and repeat.
Common problems:
* the internet (data) is not activated on the prepaid SIM card or the initial data around 50MB is quickly used up and the camera shows OFFLINE
*the PIN code for the camera SIM card has not been removed
*you are in a non-zone or the camera is installed in a place where there is no zone
*you did not restart your phone after installing the application
*do not reset the CCTV camera after inserting the SIM card
When you have done this, a QR code will appear on the phone screen. You need to place the QR code at a distance of about 10 cm from the camera lens and the camera will read the code. the camera light will start flashing blue and then try to repeat scanning the QR code about 10cm away from the lens.

What to do if the smart camera goes offline?
Failed to create encrypted channel/video stream stopped working?
1. Please update the app to the latest version.
2. If you are an iOS user, please make sure your mobile phone system version is running 10.0 or later. For Android users, please make sure your mobile phone is running Android 5.0 or higher.
3. Check your network environment: You can download network speed test tools and check your location's network upload and download speed.
a. Make sure your upload speed is at least 2 MB/s, your download speed is at least 2 MB/s, or your upload speed is 16 Mbps, your download speed is 16 Mbps.
b. One camera requires 8M upload bandwidth, two cameras require 16M, and bandwidth is grouped by number of cameras.
c. Please ensure that your network has enough bandwidth (uplink bandwidth in China is more than 20M, other areas are mostly 50-100M).

What should I do if I can't receive device push messages, alarm sounds/doorbells and call requests from the app?
1. Please confirm whether you have purchased phone/SMS notification service (purchase phone/SMS notification service)
2. If you have purchased, please confirm that the phone notification/SMS notification is connected to the automation and meets the conditions you configured, and the camera device must also turn on the "Motion Detection Alarm Switch"; (How to use the phone notification/SMS notification service)
3. Check the settings for sending a message in the app: open the app - click on me - in the center of the message - click on the gear in the upper right corner - enter the settings for sending the message - turn on the relevant permissions and turn off do not disturb after a period of time
4. Check the related mobile phone system settings: Check the application permission notification permission setting in the mobile phone settings, turn off the power saving function of the mobile phone, and let the app start automatically.
Note. If your device is a smart doorbell or smart camera and cannot receive voice/video call requests on the phone interface, you need to open the app to receive voice/video call requests normally.

How can I enable the camera to turn on/off motion detection when I need it?
Click the camera button in the upper right corner of the device control panel to open the device settings page.
Find the "Motion Detection Alarm Settings" option (different devices will display a slightly different name for the option).
On the "Motion Detection Alarm Settings" page, you can find the "alarm function schedule" option.
You can add a tschedul to choose to turn the camera motion detection feature on and off.
